About us

SCZ Labs is a software development studio based in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. We build products from zero, scale the ones that already exist, and partner with our clients — across Latin America and beyond — at every stage of the product lifecycle.

I'm 25, born in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, and I love two things: my city and building software. My faith in the Lord Jesus shapes how I work, how I lead, and how I treat the people and projects I build with. Outside of code, I teach the Bible.

At heart, I'm a product person. I love building new things that change how a business is perceived — and giving existing products a facelift that makes people see them in a new light.

It started in high school: in my final two years I placed third in 2017 and second in 2018 at the departmental coding competition, qualifying for the national round both times.

I've been building with Flutter for several years; I even spent a semester as a teaching assistant for Flutter and .NET, and a few of those classes are still up on my YouTube channel.

I've led teams since university — before I'd even graduated, I ran two teams on two custom-software projects: Escalafón Docente, a system that let professors submit their CVs to apply for salary raises, replacing a manual, paper-heavy process; and a research-tracking platform for my university. From there I went on to lead international teams across three countries, working along the way in banking, edtech, and fitness software, before founding my own studio.

And yes: our R&D project — an AI that detects lung cancer in CT scans — is, quite literally, my thesis. My defense panel is still one of the most demanding clients I've ever had.
